Aerotek is seeking a Material Handler / Material Control Specialist for its Jacksonville, FL facility. In this role, you will be crucial in the shipping and receiving department, focusing on handling metal parts and ensuring efficient inventory control.
The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing or warehouse experience, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and possess basic computer skills. This position offers contract-to-hire status with competitive benefits.
As a shipping and receiving coordinator, you will be a key player in our Shipping/Receiving department in a heavy industrial facility. Your primary tasks will include receiving all metal and related parts for assembly, performing cycle counts, and staging product through production. Occasionally, you will operate a sit‑down forklift, but the majority of your day will involve being on your feet, lifting and loading up to 50 pounds, and handling materials. Inventory control and computer skills are preferred.
