Job Title: Materials Coordinator II
The Materials Coordinator processes non-conformance reports for parts that do not meet product standards or specifications, coordinates disassembly of affected assemblies, arranges return of non-conforming parts to suppliers, and creates new work orders to receive replacement parts. Once replacement parts arrive, this role enters them into the ERP system and ensures that work orders flow efficiently through the shop according to established priorities, helping reduce past-due orders and minimize late deliveries to both internal and external customers. This position also supports data entry, packing, and inventory-related tasks within a manufacturing and warehouse environment. The role is expected to start as a temporary assignment to cover an employee on leave, with the possibility of becoming permanent.

This role is based on-site at a manufacturing and warehouse facility in San Diego, CA. You will work in a production and materials handling environment that involves frequent movement around the shop floor, interaction with assembly, shipping, receiving, and inventory control areas, and handling a high volume of small parts. The position follows a Monday–Friday schedule, with overtime mandatory during the last week of the month to meet deadlines. Overtime may range from 1–2 hours per day, and some Saturdays may be required. You are expected to comply with all safety regulations, maintain a clean and orderly work area, and dress appropriately for a manufacturing and warehouse setting, including any required safety gear provided by the employer.
This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA.
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
