Star Lumber & Supply Co., Inc. in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Material Handler to pull, stage and load building materials, operate forklifts, and assist customers on-site. You will load/unload trucks, follow safety procedures, and work outdoors in varying weather, contributing to efficient warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Pull, stage and load building material products, may include but not limited to (lumber, cabinets, windows, doors, decking, siding)
• Safely load and unload materials on a variety of truck typed including semi, box trucks and flat beds
• Assist customers with loading materials
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Adhere to all safety procedures and personal protection equipment (PPE) requirements
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions while staying adaptable and prepared

The Material Handler is Responsible for:

• Pull, stage and load building material products, may include but not limited to (lumber, cabinets, windows, doors, decking, siding)

Requirements

Preferred Experience

• Knowledge of lumber and building materials
• Forklift operation experience
• Familiarity with (WMS) Warehouse Management Systems
• Experience working in a warehouse or distribution center
• Warehouse management technology
