Job summary

Sealed Air in Streetsboro, OH is seeking an on-site associate to pack bags for shipment, load outbound trucks, and complete required paperwork according to shipping requirements. You will operate equipment like hand carts and forklifts, log shipments, and ensure accuracy of inbound materials.

Responsibilities

• Pack plastic bag products according to customers’ shipping specifications to satisfy shipping requirements.
• Safely operate hand cart, powered forklift and stand up lift.
• Prepare shipping labels, weigh, and wrap products to ship correctly to customers’ sites.
• Log shipment information into computer and mail paperwork to billing department to document shipments.
• Unload trucks and verify inbound materials for accuracy or damage.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Shift Supervisor and provide support to other departments as needed.

Shift: Morning 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM Rotating Shift Schedule
Pay Rate: $23.00

ROLE PURPOSE:
Perform a variety of duties involved in packing bags for shipment to customers, load trucks for outbound shipments, and perform required paperwork in order to ship products to customers per shipping requirements.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Pack plastic bag products according to customers’ shipping specifications in order to satisfy customers’ shipping requirements.
• Safely operate industrial equipment such as hand cart, powered forklift and stand up lift.
• Prepare shipping labels, weigh, and wrap products in order to ship correctly to customers’ sites.
• Log shipment information into computer and mail paperwork to billing department in order to document shipped products.
• Unload trucks of bags, materials, supplies, etc. and verify inbound materials for accuracy or damage to ensure accountability of received materials.
• Perform other similar or related duties as assigned or directed by the Shift Supervisor.
• Provide support services to other departments as needed.
