Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking dependable Material Handlers in Streator, IL to move, organize, and supply materials throughout the facility. This role supports production operations and requires attention to safety and efficiency.

You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks if certified, load and unload shipments, maintain inventory counts, and collaborate with production teams to keep on-time workflows. Weekly pay and solid benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous material handling or forklift experience preferred.

Location: Streator, IL. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM. Pay: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour (higher starting pay may be considered based on experience and skill set).

About the Opportunity

Express Employment Professionals is partnered with a leading manufacturer of heavy-duty automotive lifts in Streator, IL. We are seeking dependable Material Handlers to support production operations by moving, organizing, and supplying materials throughout the facility.

Responsibilities

• Move raw materials, components, and finished products throughout the manufacturing facility
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and production equipment as needed
• Supply workstations with materials to support production schedules
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely (if certified)
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with material tracking
• Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for damage or discrepancies
• Keep warehouse and production areas clean, organized, and safe
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure efficient workflow and on-time production

Qualifications

• Previous material handling, warehouse, manufacturing, or forklift experience preferred
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment is a plus
• Experience using RF scanners and inventory systems preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials throughout the shift
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
