Job summary

Total Staffing Solutions in Aurora, IL is seeking a Material Handler / Reach Truck Forklift operator for a 1st shift. Pay rate is $20.00/hr; temp-to-hire position from 7am-5:30pm in a production setting.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, order filling, operating forklifts, and maintaining inventory using NetSuite/MRP. Requires attention to detail, basic math, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience driving a double-reach forklift and working with MRP systems.
• 1+ year as material handler or in warehouse/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently or in a team, basic math.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, move, and store raw materials, components, and finished products.
• Pull, verify, and fill orders using pick lists, work orders, and shipping documents.
• Operate forklifts, double-reach trucks, and pallet jacks; perform daily safety inspections.
• Supply production lines with required materials to support on-time production.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and management; document stock movements in the system (NetSuite/MRP).
• Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies, equipment issues, or labeling errors.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environment.
• Follow all safety policies and assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
• Requires attention to detail, basic math and Excel skills, ability to stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
