Leonard Buildings and Truck Accessories in Mount Airy, NC seeks a skilled Material Handler to safely operate forklifts, move shed components and truck accessories, and support production goals at the Mt. Airy Distribution Center.
You will work with warehouse and production teams to ensure accurate material flow and timely deliveries. Responsibilities include equipment inspection, inventory accuracy, and adherence to safety protocols.
Established in the Blue Ridge foothills of North Carolina in 1963, Leonard Buildings and Truck Accessories is a manufacturer and distributor whose product lines include storage buildings, cargo and utility trailers, truck covers, truck and van accessories, carports, playhouses, chicken coops, and dog houses. We serve our residential, commercial, fleet, and government customers through our 150+ retail store locations in eighteen states, supported by our corporate offices (in Mount Airy, NC, and Cobden, IL), distribution centers, and strategically located manufacturing facilities.
The Material Handler position is based at the Leonard Mt. Airy, NC Distribution Center, with operations in the U.S and has overall responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, stack, and organize shed components and truck accessories within the warehouse or production area, contributing to the smooth flow of materials and supporting the timely and accurate production of products. This position reports directly to the Warehouse Manager and does not have direct reports.
Between $16-$17 per hour.
