Job summary

Leonard Buildings and Truck Accessories in Mount Airy, NC seeks a skilled Material Handler to safely operate forklifts, move shed components and truck accessories, and support production goals at the Mt. Airy Distribution Center.

You will work with warehouse and production teams to ensure accurate material flow and timely deliveries. Responsibilities include equipment inspection, inventory accuracy, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid forklift operator certification.
• Proven experience as a forklift driver in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of forklift safety procedures and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Operates forklifts safely and efficiently following protocols.
• Moves and stacks materials within warehouse or production areas.
• Loads/unloads materials from trucks and storage areas.
• Maintains accurate inventory records and reports discrepancies.
• Inspects materials for damages and reports issues.
• Coordinates with teams to support production schedules.
