PeopleReady in Houston, TX seeks a Material Handler to manage incoming and outgoing parts, supply production, and maintain organized inventory in a fast-paced environment.

You will receive, inspect, and organize materials, verify shipments, and prepare orders for shipment while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards. Shift: 1st (Day); applicants must be 18+ and willing to undergo checks.

Material Handler

PeopleReady of Houston, TX is now hiring Material Handlers in Houston, TX. The Material Handler is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing of parts, supply parts to production as well as proper inventorying of parts. Work to ensure all parts flow and are organized in a world class manner in that is consistent with the Company values and operating philosophy.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $18 - $18 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Material Handler :

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials and products




• Verify shipments, process receiving paperwork, and maintain accurate inventory documentation




• Perform incoming inspections of ASME materials and other required materials to ensure quality and compliance




• Package parts and prepare orders for shipment




• Process shipping documentation and coordinate outgoing deliveries




• Maintain inventory accuracy and monitor stock levels to support production and aftermarket parts sales




• Stock materials on shelves and distribute materials to designated departments and work area




• Pick, stage, and deliver materials for manufacturing operations
