Job summary

Knape and Vogt Manufacturing Company in Grand Rapids is seeking a Material Handler to join our Shipping and Receiving department. You will operate Hi-Lo or picker equipment, use barcode scanners, and pick and label shipments while contributing to accurate inventory in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates bring 2 years of shipping/receiving or Hi-Lo experience, a valid driver's license, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• 2 years of Shipping/Receiving, Hi-Lo or related experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work in a high paced environment and communicate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Operates standing or sit-down Hi-lo or picker.
• Uses a barcode scanner throughout the day.
• Picks orders for shipment and labels shipments.
• Loads and unloads trucks.
• Conducts inventory transactions on RF units with accuracy.
• Other duties as assigned.
