Job summary

Knape & Vogt Manufacturing Company is seeking an experienced Hi-Lo driver to join our distribution team. This fast-paced role on 1st shift offers competitive pay and outstanding benefits.

Open position: Receiving on 1st shift (7:00am-3:00pm) with an hourly rate of $19.25. Responsibilities include unloading, inventory, RF scanning, quality checks, and order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of recent forklift driving experience and a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Computer and RF Scanner experience or ability and willingness to learn.
• Ability to efficiently work in a high-paced environment.
• Speak, read, write, and understand basic English.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks using a stand-up or sit-down forklift and picker.
• Take inventory of products and verify quantity and quality of orders against purchase orders.
• Perform quality control on items and check for damaged goods.
• Document orders and transactions.
• Conduct inventory transactions using RF units.
• Rotate, store, and package materials/items properly.
• Pick and label orders for shipment to KV manufacturing facility.
• Request assistance for items heavier than 50 lbs.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Monitor safety and mechanical aspects of forklift and picker equipment.
