Job summary

Elyria Foundry|Hodge Foundry is seeking a Pattern Storage Material Handler to operate a forklift, load and unload materials, and ensure safe stacking in a heavy manufacturing setting. The role requires the ability to move patterns and materials in congested areas while maintaining safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, stacking, and moving items in and out of racks, with emphasis on safe operation and adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• Prior forklift experience required.
• Must have valid state driver’s license.
• Established skills in operating equipment in a safe manner.
• Demonstrated competency in loading, unloading, and stacking materials.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stack loads accurately and safely at all times


• Comfortable moving material in and out of racks


• Ability to maneuver in congested areas while operating in a safe manner.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs.

Job Type: Full Time. Hourly, non-exempt.
