Job summary

The Swan Food Company in Bridgeton, Missouri, is seeking candidates for a full-time role in food manufacturing. Responsibilities

• Moving materials and supplies through the facility using material handling equipment.
• Stacking skids or pallets in designated areas and disposing of scrap.
• Placing items in proper containers or designated areas.
• Conducting intermediate material audits.
• Performing other maintenance work as assigned.

What You Will Do:

• Moving materials and supplies through the facility, which may require the use of material handling equipment such as carts, conveyor belts, and pallet jacks.
• Stacking skids or pallets in designated areas and cleaning and disposing of scrap bracing cardboard and strapping.
• Placing items in proper containers or designated areas.
• Using lists to determine and count quantities of product moving throughout the facility and conducting intermediate material audits.
• Other duties as assigned (such as general maintenance work around the facility and processing of load sheets).

What You Will Bring:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 0 to 2 years related experience.Must be able to work in freezers with subzero temperatures for 4-8 hours per day and stand up to 8 hours.
