Job summary

Kahiki Foods - CJ Foods Affiliate is hiring for a full-time production associate in our Salina, KS facility. You will unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods while ensuring quality at each step.

We offer a starting wage of $18.00 per hour with a $2.00 shift differential for 3 p.m. to 6 a.m., weekly pay, and a comprehensive benefits package including health plans, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, holidays, and disability coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred (<140 chars).
• Minimum of 0 to 1 years of experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Be adaptable to rotating schedules, including weekends and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods.
• Ensure that all products meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products and manage waste as directed.
• Notify supervisor of quality issues, ingredient problems, or equipment breakdowns.
• Comply with USDA, OSHA, state and federal regulations and GMPs.

What You Will Do

• Unpack raw materials, mix ingredients, assemble products, and package finished goods.
• Ensure that all products (from raw materials to finished products) meet company and government quality standards.
• Inspect products; throwing out or fixing products as necessary; writing down amount of waste as directed.
• Notify supervisor of quality issues, ingredient/material problems and/or equipment breakdowns.
• Perform all duties in compliance with existing USDA, OSHA, State, Federal, and company regulations, policies, and procedures (including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and safety regulations).

What We Look For

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods on concrete floors.
• Strong manual dexterity; capable of performing repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions.
