Job summary

The Swan Food Company is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Pasadena, TX for our food manufacturing facility. This full-time role operates on the 1st shift from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm, with a focus on safe material movement and accurate pallet handling.

You will use carts, pallet jacks, and conveyors to move materials, count items, and perform basic audits. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and 0–2 years of related experience is acceptable.

• Able to work in freezers at subzero temperatures for 4–8 hours daily.

Responsibilities

• Move materials and supplies through the facility using carts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
• Stack pallets in designated areas and dispose of scrap material and waste.
• Place items in proper containers or designated areas.
• Use lists to count quantities and conduct intermediate material audits.
• Assist with general maintenance and processing of load sheets.

• Starting Pay: $16.50 per hour
• Additional $1.50 shift differential from 6 p.m. -- 6 a.m.
• Shift: 1st
• Hours: 6 am - 4 pm

What You Will Do

• Moving materials and supplies through the facility, which may require the use of material handling equipment such as carts, conveyer belts, and pallet jacks.
• Stacking skids or pallets in designated areas and cleaning and disposing of scrap bracing cardboard and strapping.
• Placing items in proper containers or designated areas.
• Using lists to determine and count quantities of product moving throughout the facility and conducting intermediate material audits.
• Other duties as assigned (such as general maintenance work around the facility and processing of load sheets).

What You Will Bring

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 0 to 2 years related experience.
• Must be able to work in freezers with subzero temperatures for 4-8 hours per day and stand up to 8 hours.
