Job summary

ALPLA in Bowling Green, KY is hiring a Material Handler to support manufacturing operations with a focus on material availability and accurate inventory. You will ensure proper storage, assist with regrind and color-change processes, and help keep the production area clean and organized.

• Maintain clean regrind room and label room; assist maintenance and mold change teams.

WHAT YOU WILL ENJOY DOING

• Ensures material availability and accurate inventory
  
• Ensures delivered materials are stored in the correct location, including
  labels.
• Ensures a correct and accurate inventory is taken, as requested
• Ensures regrind waste is kept to a minimum and that any waste is
  recorded
  
• Ensures any regrind that can be returned to the machines is returned as
  soon as possible
• Ensures all correct procedures are followed during a color change
• Ensures materials no longer being used are returned to the correct area
• Ensures cleanliness of regrind room, label room and mezzanine
• Assists Maintenance and Mold Change Team

What Makes You Great

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in manufacturing environment
• Experience as Material Handler preferred

Qualification/Skills:

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to operate Forklifts
