Job summary

ALPLA Inc. is seeking an entry-level manufacturing technician to ensure high quality products are produced and to monitor and adjust process parameters.

You will troubleshoot mechanical issues, verify availability of raw materials, and help minimize waste while following safety and housekeeping rules. Join a stable, global leader in sustainable packaging with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical/mechanical background in Plastics Industry preferred.
  • Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure high quality products are produced at all times.
  • Monitor process parameters and report results.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical or process issues as needed.
  • Ensure raw materials are available and defect-free before use.
  • Monitor material waste and report inconsistencies.
  • Maintain clean work area following the cleaning plan.

WHAT YOU WILL ENJOY DOING

  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical or process issues accordingly
  • Ensure all raw materials required are available and defect free before using them
  • Monitor material waste and report inconsistencies
  • Following housekeeping rules and keeping the work area clean according to the cleaning plan
What Makes You Great

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Technical/mechanical background in Plastics Industry preferred
