Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot packaging equipment.
  • Load, build, and package products; hand pack bottles and apply labels.
  • Perform routine cleaning and loading/unloading of packaging materials.
  • Document records of finished goods and packaging specifications and quality checks.
  • Perform changeovers and ensure correct labeling; conduct autonomous maintenance.

What You Will Enjoy Doing

Operate, maintain, troubleshoot multiple types of packaging Equipment may include, but is not limited to:

  • product inserters (CPK, TPK, VPM, PLU)
  • top closers

Manual responsibilities include

  • loading, building and making boxes
  • hand packaging of bottles
  • loading labels

Maintenance includes

  • perform routine cleaning
  • Loading/unloading packaging materials such as corrugate, containers or other raw materials
  • Documentation:

Accurately document records of finished goods, packaging specifications, or any visual quality checks

  • Perform changeovers of divers packaging equipment (eg case erector, partition inserter, top sealer, )
  • Applies correct labels
  • Perform quality check consisting of visual inspection of overall product, labels and packaging integrity for defects
  • Perform Autonomous maintenance
Performance Metrics:
  • Labeling Accuracy: Maintains a labeling accuracy rate of 100% by consistently following all labeling procedures without deviation.
  • Quality Control Compliance: Performs all required quality checks with 100% completion and accuracy, identifying and reporting any defects per standard operating procedures.
