Job summary

Automation Personnel Services in Arlington is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to support shipping operations. You will pull orders, scan and assemble items, load and unload with a sit-down forklift, and prepare orders for outbound shipment.

This full-time, temp-to-hire role on 1st shift (7am–3:30pm) offers $18 per hour plus benefits including weekly pay, health and retirement options, and paid time off after service milestones.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation experience and ability to operate sit-down forklift.
• Strong basic reading and math abilities for order accuracy.
• Comfort with basic computer systems and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Pull orders and prepare for shipment.
• Load and unload using a sit-down forklift.
• Assist in receiving procedures and cycle counts.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Keep work area organized and safe.

Job description

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a dedicated Material Handler for a company based in the Arlington area. In this job, you will be responsible for the physical shipping of goods. Performing a n array of duties such as pulling orders, scanning orders, assembly, quality control, loading and unloading and getting orders ready to ship.

Pay Rate

$18 per hour

Schedule and Hours

1st shift

7am – 3:30pm

Material Handler Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pulling orders
• Load and unload using a Sit-down forklift
• Assist in receiving procedures
• conduct cycle counts
• Maintain inventory
• Forklift experience is a must

Material Handler Requirements and Qualifications:

• Basic reading and math skills
• Basic computer skills
• Must be able to sit or stand for 8 to 10 hours
