Job summary

Automation Personnel Services in Charlotte is seeking a reliable 2nd Shift Material Handler to join our manufacturing team. The role involves loading, unloading, and moving metal sheets, operating forklifts, and organizing materials for production.

This temp-hire position pays $19 per hour with Monday–Friday 3:00pm–11:30pm shifts and some overtime. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely in a fast-paced environment. Weekly pay and overtime possibilities are available.

2nd Shift Material Handler:

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a reliable, experienced Material Handler to join a manufacturing team in Charlotte. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a new start in the industry.

Pay Rate

$19/hr.

Schedule and Hours

3:00pm to 11:30pm Monday - Friday (Some OT required)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move metal sheets and materials safely.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Organize and stage materials for production.
• Read work orders and follow material specifications.
• Maintain accurate inventory and material counts.
• Inspect materials for quality and report any damage.
• Keep work areas clean and follow all safety procedures.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
• Experience working with metal products is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle large materials safely.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to workplace safety and attendance.
