Kelly Services is seeking a Material Handler for a premier manufacturing client in Wyandotte, MI. The role offers a $22.00/hr pay rate with weekly pay and a rotating 12-hour shift (days and nights) with every-other weekend off, plus a schedule that alternates days and nights.
You will operate extrusion equipment, handle raw materials, and participate in packaging and labeling while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity.

Pay Rate: $22.00/hr - Weekly Pay!
Shift: 12-hour shift, (7am-7pm and 7pm-7am) Rotating schedule, every other weekend off schedule, rotate days/nights, Three working days one week (Sun, Wed, Thurs) and four the next week (Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat). After each work cycle of seven days, employees switch from days to nights or vice versa. 12-hour, rotating day/night schedule. Every other weekend off, rotating days/nights, 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next
Operating extruders and auxiliary equipment to manufacture products for various industries
Assigned to one of four teams on a 12-hour, rotating day/night schedule
Selecting, charging, and mixing raw materials; setting up and operating equipment; packaging and labeling finished product
Monitoring processes and executing required tasks safely, consistently, and reliably once trained
Demonstrating strong safety, quality, and productivity orientation with good written and verbal communication skills
Taking direction and functioning with limited supervision
Displaying moderate mechanical aptitude and teamwork competency
Working under time constraints and maintaining excellent customer focus
Hold a High School diploma or GED
Have at least 1 year of manufacturing or general industrial experience (required)
Are physically able to work for prolonged periods with high activity, including standing, walking, stretching, using stairs, and lifting up to 50lbs periodically
Are comfortable working a 12-hour rotating shift schedule
Possess working knowledge of common industrial safe work practices
Have fork truck and pallet jack experience
Have experience in chemical, compounding, or injection molding facilities (preferred)
