Job summary

Mission Critical Group (MCG) is seeking a Material Handler to safely move materials between departments in a heavy manufacturing environment. You will operate forklifts, read blueprints, and ensure accurate handling and labeling of materials.

You must pass a background check and drug screening, stand for long shifts, and lift up to 50 pounds with occasional 100-pound pushes. Reliability and safety are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years' experience in a manufacturing or construction environment preferred.
• Must be able to stand, stoop, kneel, or crouch during an 8–10 hour shift.
• Carry products, equipment, and tools up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport materials between departments.
• Identify, label, and store materials in appropriate storage areas.
• Inspect materials for damage or defects and report discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of materials received and distributed.
• Read work orders or instructions to determine material or equipment needs.
• Examine forklifts daily and complete a safety checklist.
• Communicate with supervisors regarding inventory.
• Sort materials for processing or transport.
