GMM is seeking a Material Handler to receive, inspect, prepare, and distribute incoming material in a manufacturing setting. You will operate a forklift, verify quantities, load and unload goods, and ensure materials meet specifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6–12 months related experience or training.
• Fork truck Certification required.
• Read, write and speak English fluently.
• Read and interpret documents such as blueprints and specifications.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate fork truck to convey materials within plant.
• Compute, verify, and record material quantities received and distributed.
• Load/unload packages and secure items for transport.
• Inspect materials for conformance to specifications.
• Maintain safety and order in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
