Priority Dispatch Corp. in Eau Claire, WI is seeking a dependable Material Handler to move and stage materials, operate a forklift, and assist production lines.

You will follow work orders, inspect equipment, and help maintain a safe, organized warehouse while recording material movements daily. The role requires 1–2 years of related experience and forklift experience, with a preference for manufacturing environment familiarity.

Qualifications

• One to two years related experience is required.
• Forklift experience is required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Review work orders and coordinate with department leads to set up production lines.
• Inspect forklift at shift start and report defects using a checklist.
• Move freight, stock and materials to/from storage, production, shipping and receiving.
• Attach identifying tags and verify labeling on all items.
• Ensure materials and packaging are available at work stations as required.
• Communicate with department leads to maintain steady material flow.
• Assist shipping/receiving in the removal of materials as needed.
• Record units moved on daily production sheets.
• Restock, clean and reorganize the production floor as required.
• Keep aisles and fire doors clear of materials.
• Fix, band, color code and dispose of pallets properly.
• Assist lead with anchoring and realignment of racking.
• Maintain daily inventory records for production materials.
• Communicate with and assist other workers in the area.
• Adhere to good housekeeping practices and optimize warehouse space.
• Follow all safety precautions and wear protective equipment.
• Identify and correct safety hazards promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Foster team spirit and maintain a positive work environment.
