Job summary

John Deere is hiring a Material Flow Packaging Specialist in Ankeny, IA. You will partner with OFP and PDP engineers to design part racking and coordinate with suppliers on prototypes and rack loops for PDP programs.

Requirements include 2+ years in material flow/operations, CREO and SAP MM/PP experience, and strong communication and Excel skills. Onsite position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology, Supply Management, or Business/Management.
• 2+ years experience with Material Flow, Manufacturing, Operations or Supply Management.
• Experience with CREO models and prints.
• Experience with tool, rack, or fixture design.
• Experience with SAP, specifically Material Master and Production Planning.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with OFP and PDP Manufacturing Engineers to design and develop part racking.
• Collaborate with third party suppliers to finalize, quote, and build prototypes and full rack loops for PDP programs.
• Provide daily support on inquiries related to returnable containers and work with third party suppliers.
