Job summary

Divergent is seeking a Material Coordinator to align development, supply chain, and warehouse activities for high‑priority LPBF projects in Torrance, CA. The role focuses on coordinating material flow rather than traditional picking, ensuring timely availability for development and integration teams.

You will support receiving, staging, delivery, replenishment, and shortage management, while maintaining traceability and driving process improvements across the value stream.

Qualifications

• Ability to access information subject to US export controls.
• Experience in manufacturing, development, production, warehouse, or supply chain.
• Experience collaborating with engineering or production teams in fast-paced environments.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the material-flow interface between Development, Supply Chain, and Warehouse Operations.
• Translate development needs into receiving, staging, delivery, and replenishment requirements.
• Support LPBF sub-assemblies, printer systems, and production modules.
• Maintain material identification, traceability, and visibility from receipt through delivery.
• Establish delivery schedules, staging locations, and replenishment methods with Warehouse.
• Develop handling and storage practices for sensitive components.
• Track consumption and replenishment to prevent shortages.
• Improve delivery methods based on feedback and changing requirements.
• Maintain ERP/MRP/WMS data accuracy.
