This role emphasizes tracking materials, coordinating deliveries, and verifying conformance under guidance, with opportunities to learn 5S and measurement tools while supporting multiple shifts and occasional plant travel.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years' experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
• ERP exposure preferred.
• Basic problem-solving and math skills.
• Willingness to learn 5S, inventory standards, and measurement tools.
• Basic understanding of metric and imperial measurements.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a structured environment.

Responsibilities

• Reviews production schedules and works with department supervisors to identify basic material requirements.
• Assists with tracking overdue materials and updating material status.
• Supports the requisition of materials and helps coordinate delivery dates.
• Verifies material conformance to specifications under guidance.
• Assists with kitting materials for production needs.
• Computes simple material requirements using established tools and instructions.
• Maintains manual or computerized records for material inventory and in-process reports.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
