Yoh Life Sciences is seeking a Materials Coordinator in Carlsbad, CA to support biopharmaceutical operations by receiving, storing, staging, and distributing raw materials, components, and finished goods in compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and safety regulations.

The role supports production schedules, ensures inventory accuracy, and maintains a safe warehouse environment with 6S practices in a fast-paced setting.

Competenze

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred 2+ years in materials management; 1+ year in a pharmaceutical environment preferred.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs and quality documentation in English.
• Microsoft Office experience.

Mansioni

• Support CFR Title 21, QMS, SOPs, and quality documentation.
• Perform accurate ERP data entry for material transactions.
• Receive, verify, and document incoming materials against specs and POs.
• Maintain receiving docs to internal procedures/SOPs.
• Support inventory control, purchasing, and material flow processes.
• Coordinate with QA/QC for material testing and release.
• Conduct cycle counts and wall-to-wall counts as needed.
• Pack, stage, and ship materials to customers or testing facilities.
• Maintain 6S in the warehouse and ensure safe, organized areas.
• Engage with suppliers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies.

Yoh Life Sciences is hiring for a Materials Coordinator in Carlsbad, CA. You will support our biopharmaceutical customer with receiving, storing, staging, and distributing raw materials, components, and finished goods in accordance with cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), and safety regulations. The role supports production schedules and ensures inventory accuracy while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.

Location: Carlsbad, CA

Shift: M-F 8-4:30pm

Pay: $25-28/hr DOE

Duration: Contract to perm

Responsibilitie

• Support and work within the Code of Federal Regulations Title 21, Quality Management System, Standard Operation Procedures (SOP’s), Work Instructions, comply with all documentation needs, and practices.
• Perform timely and accurate data entry in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for material transactions.
• Perform receipt of incoming materials. Check materials received against specifications, vendor shipping documents and purchase orders for accuracy.
• Accurately maintain all receiving documentation to comply with internal procedures and or SOPs.
• Follow best practices related to the systems and process that support material inventory, purchasing, and material control.
• Provide recommendations and assist with implementation of improvements.
• Work with Purchasing and Accounts Payable to resolve any supplier invoice issues or discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Quality Control personnel, ensuring timely testing and release of materials.
• Conduct cycle counts and wall-to-wall counts as needed.
• Pick and stage materials for manufacturing and laboratory support.
• Support accurate client billing and raw material traceability through timely processing of return to stock items.
• Inspect stock for damage/product integrity. Maintain organization of work areas through 6S (sort, set, standardize, shine, sustain, safety).
• Interact with Manufacturing and laboratory departments to reconcile inventory variances.
• Perform packaging and shipping of materials and samples to customers and/or testing facilities. Monitor shipments and update of any potential delays.
• Manage effective relationships with suppliers as well as internal and external clients.
• Successfully adapt to changing priorities in a high operating tempo.

Qualification

• Minimum high school diploma, or equivalent
• Preferred minimum two (2) years’ experience in materials management. Preferred minimum one (1) year experience working in Pharmaceutical environment.
• Ability to read, understand, and carry out Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), Work Instructions and other Quality Process Documentation in English.
• Knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures within the manufacturing and biologic environment preferred.
• Microsoft Office experience

Estimated Min Rate: $25.00
