Job summary

Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is seeking Material Handlers for our Newburyport, MA facility with coverage at Rowley, MA. The role supports manufacturing by ensuring inventory accuracy, expediting materials, and coordinating shortages to keep production moving.

Shift is 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 18-month contract. Ideal candidates have experience loading/unloading, warehouse logistics, and operating pallet jacks or forklifts, plus basic inventory tracking and strong attention

Qualifications

• Experience loading and unloading materials, supplies, or equipment.
• Warehouse, stockroom, inventory, shipping, receiving, or logistics experience preferred.
• Experience operating pallet jacks, hand trucks, skids, or similar material handling equipment.
• Forklift/Fork Truck experience is a plus.
• Basic computer and inventory tracking skills.
• Ability to follow work instructions and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
• Experience communicating material status and coordinating shortages with multiple departments.

Position Summary

The Material Handler is responsible for controlling and maintaining the accurate transfer of parts and materials in and out of the stockroom. • Approximately 80% standing and walking throughout the shift
