Job summary

Akima Global Logistics (AGL) is seeking a Material Coordinator to manage equipment turn-ins, warehousing, and transportation coordination in Fort Hood, TX. You will ensure accurate Army documentation and data entry across GCSS-Army, DPAS, and LMP, while supporting high-volume operations.

The role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to work with Army units and contractor staff; familiar with MHE and CAC background checks may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s in Logistics or related field a plus.
• 3–5 years of logistics or materiel management experience.
• Prior Army or contractor experience in equipment turn-in preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the receipt, staging, and movement of equipment turned in by Army units.
• Track status from receipt through final disposition.
• Review and validate supply documents (DA Form 1348-1A, DD Form 200, hand receipts, condition codes).
• Ensure timely data entry into GCSS-Army, DPAS, or LMP; maintain logs and reports.
