Job summary

Akima Global Logistics (AGL) is seeking a Material Coordinator to manage movement, accountability, and documentation of Army equipment at a contractor-managed turn-in site. You will work with supply, warehousing, and transportation staff to ensure equipment is received, staged, and processed for accountability and disposition in line with Army regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; equivalent relevant work experience may be substituted.
• 3-5 years of logistics, supply, or materiel management experience.
• Prior U.S. Army or contractor experience in equipment turn-in or supply support activities preferred.
• Knowledge of Army supply regulations: AR 710-2, AR 735-5, DA PAM 710-2-1.
• Familiarity with Army documentation and condition coding requirements.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read, interpret, and process Army supply documentation.
• Must have a valid driver's license with proof of vehicle insurance and a REAL ID.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time (90–110 days potential).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the receipt, staging, and movement of equipment turned in by Army units.
• Track status of turn-ins from initial receipt through final disposition.
• Review and validate supply documents such as DA Form 1348-1A, DD Form 200, hand receipts, and condition codes.
• Ensure timely and accurate data entry into Army systems such as GCSS-Army, DPAS, or LMP.
• Maintain logs, spreadsheets, and reports for daily, weekly, and monthly activity.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff for storage, location management, and retrieval of equipment.
