Job summary

Akima Global Logistics (AGL) is seeking a Material Coordinator at a contractor-managed Army turn-in site to oversee equipment movement, accountability, and documentation. You will work closely with Army units, warehousing, and transportation staff to ensure smooth turn‑in processing and accurate data updates in logistics systems.

You will maintain audit-ready records, coordinate with multiple teams, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance throughout the turn‑in lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of logistics, supply, or materiel management experience.
• Army or contractor turn-in/supply support experience preferred.
• Familiar with Army docs and systems: AR 710-2, AR 735-5, DA PAM 710-2-1; GCSS-Army, DPAS, LMP.
• Valid driver\'s license with proof of vehicle insurance and Real ID.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate receipt, staging, and movement of equipment turned in by Army units.
• Track status from receipt to final disposition.
• Maintain logs, spreadsheets, and reports for daily, weekly, and monthly activity.
• Prepare cargo movement requests and loading plans per Army standards.
• Serve as liaison between contractor site staff and Army units.
