Job summary

Industrial Electric Manufacturing in Oregon seeks a meticulous Material Control Technician to join our prototyping team. You will manage inventory, verify parts for workorders, receive, store, and kit materials, and maintain accurate data and dashboards.

You should be comfortable with lean principles, ERP and order management, and lifting up to 50 lbs. This role supports production schedules and requires independent work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of warehouse or material control experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 2-3 years of ERP and Order Management experience.
• Excel proficiency required; lean manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide material support for Production Schedules.
• Validate availability of parts for work orders.
• Receive and inspect incoming parts.
• Prepare workorder kits.
• Perform cycle counts and count parts.
• Keep storage locations organized and neat.
• Maintain visual controls.
• Manage inventory using lean principles.
• Use forklift to store heavy materials.
• Participate in process improvement activities.
• Escalate problems and communicate progress.
• Accurately transact data and update dashboards.
• Train and support others.
• Perform other duties as required.
