Job summary

Axogen, Inc. is seeking a Materials Control Technician in Vandalia, OH to support processing center controls for human tissue and critical supplies, ensuring cGMP compliance.

You will assist engineering and supervisory teams, manage materials, and support quality systems across manufacturing operations. The role requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and ability to travel between Axogen locations as needed; prior cGMP exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience in a cGMP environment is preferred, not required.
• Forklift Certification is preferred, not required.
• ERP system experience is preferred, not required.
• Must be proficient and able to assist in training of current processes.
• Experience in one or more cross-functional support skills (e.g. environmental monitoring, inventory recording).
• Ability to make decisions with awareness of area operations.
• Good written/verbal communication and analytical skills.
• Must be able to travel to other Axogen locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receives, stores, picks and ships raw materials, supplies and/or finished products.
• Handles, moves and stores various non-hazardous and hazardous materials.
• Coordinates timely flow of materials from warehouse to work-in-process/production areas.
• Coordinates flow of finished products to shipments.
• Maintain quality system and FIFO principles.
• Maintain accurate records and reconcile inventory errors.
• Ensure safety compliance with FDA GMP, USDA, OSHA and Axogen guidelines.
• Participate in daily stand-up meetings and 5S initiatives.
