Job summary

Axogen is seeking a Material Control Technician to support process controls for human tissue and critical supplies at the Axogen Processing Center, ensuring cGMP and FDA compliance. The role supports the Supervisor, Lead Technician and Engineering in Manufacturing and Processing Operations.

Required are a High School Diploma and a valid driver’s license; experience in a cGMP environment is preferred. The position involves lifting up to 50 pounds and may require travel to other Axogen locations

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience in a cGMP environment preferred.
• ERP system experience preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Proficient in training of current processes.
• Experience in cross-functional support skills (e.g., environmental monitoring, inventory recording).
• Ability to make decisions based on area operations awareness.
• Good written/verbal communication and analytical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Receives, stores, picks and ships raw materials, supplies and/or finished products.
• Handles, moves and stores hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
• Coordinates timely flow of materials from warehouse to production areas.
• Maintains proper first in, first out (FIFO) inventory control.
• Maintains organized warehouses for tissue, supplies and finished goods.
• Maintains accurate records and reconciles inventory discrepancies.
• Ensures compliance with FDA (GMP), USDA, OSHA and Axogen policies.
• Participates in daily stand-up meetings and 5S initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
