Job summary

Axogen is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead the shop floor at the Vandalia, OH site. You will manage day-to-day production, ensure safety and quality, and support scheduling and staffing across shift operations.

The role requires 3+ years in a regulated manufacturing environment and strong leadership with a focus on continuous improvement and compliance with GMP standards. This position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a yearly salary range.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (FDA preferred).
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Experience coaching, leading, and managing teams.
• Aptitude for understanding process technology and manufacturing equipment.
• Flexible and responsive to changing conditions and priorities.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Understanding of quality management systems and cGMP.

Responsibilities

• Supervises shop floor personnel and contractors to meet production schedules.
• Ensures compliance with cGMP and applicable regulations.
• Relays policies and updates to shift leads and staff.
• Hires, transfers, promotes, and disciplines with HR support.
• Tracks training and closes gaps to stay compliant.
• Oversees performance reviews and development.
