Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Material Control Manager to oversee the Receiving, Shipping and Material Control functions across facilities.

You will manage administrative and physical tasks for shipping, receiving, storing, tracking and fulfilling material orders. Responsibilities include coordinating shipments with carriers, maintaining inventory data in ERP and MRP systems, and ensuring compliance with DoT and ITAR regulations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required and related experience preferred.
• Demonstrates strong problem solving, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with purchase orders and inventory in a computerized MRP system.
• Knowledge of DoT and international shipping regulations.
• Familiarity with commercial electronics shipping practices.

Responsibilities

• Receives incoming shipments and verifies against purchase orders; processes paperwork in real time.
• Coordinates shipments with carriers and validates shipment compliance for delivery to sites.
• Maintains data in ERP/MRP systems and counts inventory in stockrooms.
