Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Material Control Specialist II to maintain optimal inventory levels for production and operations.

You will track, analyze, and reconcile inventory in the ERP/MRP system, and work with procurement, production and warehouse teams to ensure availability and accuracy. Responsibilities include receiving, cycle counts, and data integrity, with potential packaging/shipping duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years related inventory/stockroom experience or equivalent.
• Foundational knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
• Experience with MRP/ERP inventory tracking and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Monitors inventory levels to meet production needs.
• Receives, counts, and records stock items in the system.
• Performs cycle counts and physical inventories to reconcile discrepancies.
• Issues materials per requisitions and maintains ERP records.
• Supports packing/shipping and expedites critical materials when needed.
• Collaborates with procurement, warehouse, and production teams.
