Job summary

Ecoplastic America seeks a Material Control Specialist in Register, GA to manage material flow, inventory, and production coordination. You will work with the KD assembly line to ensure timely parts delivery and implement improvements to maximize efficiency.

Responsibilities include ERP-based planning, daily production tracking, and collaboration with procurement to optimize costs while upholding quality and safety standards. On-site daytime role with potential process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field (not mandated).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems for materials management.
  • Attention to detail in fast-paced environments.

  • Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control measures to minimize wastage and costs.
  • Coordinate with the KD assembly line to ensure timely assembly and delivery of auto parts.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance KD efficiency and reduce assembly time.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to streamline KD processes.
  • Identify opportunities to source materials more cost-effectively without compromising quality.
  • Establish relationships with reliable suppliers via procurement.
  • Analyze production capacity and demand to identify bottlenecks or constraints.
  • Develop strategies to optimize production resources and meet customer demands.
  • Create production plans (annual, monthly, daily) based on orders and forecasts.
  • ERP system setup in early stage and record production performance.
  • Close manufacturing orders and maintain accurate records.
  • Monitor daily inventory levels and report discrepancies.
  • Carry out monthly pay-off procedures to reconcile inventory.

Responsibilities

  • Work with procurement to establish relationships with reliable suppliers.

  • Create annual, monthly, and daily production plans based on annual orders and demand forecasts.
  • ERP System Set-up in the foundational stage of business
  • Record and monitor daily production performance in the ERP system.
  • Facilitate the closing of manufacturing orders and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate on a daily basis to align production plans with target production goals.
  • Monitor of out-of-pocket product warehousing, ensuring proper storage and inventory control.
  • Register production information based on the Production Operation Plan (POP).
  • Track equipment downtime and implement strategies to minimize disruptions.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities to ensure minimal impact on production.
  • Prepare shipping instructions and oversee the delivery process.
  • Monitor daily inventory levels and report any discrepancies.
  • Conduct monthly pay-off procedures to reconcile inventory.
