ECOPLASTIC AMERICA CORP in Register, GA is seeking a Material Control Specialist to optimize material handling, track inventory, and support the KD assembly line to meet production schedules.

You will implement ERP-based records, collaborate across engineering and procurement, and develop daily production plans while minimizing wastage and delays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., SCM/Operations) is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are essential.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems for materials management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for material handling and storage.
• Monitor inventory levels and reduce wastage and costs.
• Coordinate with the KD assembly line to meet production schedules.
• Implement process improvements to enhance KD efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and procurement teams.
• Analyze capacity and demand to identify bottlenecks.
• Create production plans based on orders and forecasts.
• Set up ERP in early business stages and monitor daily performance.
• Record production data and close manufacturing orders accurately.
• Monitor inventory and ensure proper warehousing and transport.
• Coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime and disruptions.
• Prepare shipping instructions and oversee delivery.
