Job summary

Nebraska Public Power District is seeking a Material Handling Intern for the York Central Stores warehouse in York, NE. You will help pull, stock, and deliver materials for internal and external customers, ensuring inventory accuracy.

The internship runs May 2027–August 2027. Candidates must be enrolled in a four-year college with a major in business or supply chain management and maintain enrollment. Safety and teamwork are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in accredited four-year college/university carrying a minimum of 12 credits with a major in business management or supply chain management and must maintain enrollment.
• Junior or senior status preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP transactions is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Handle construction and maintenance material at York Central Stores warehouse with accuracy and safety.
• Pull, load, and unload material for resupply, work orders, requisitions, projects, and transfers; record outbound shipments in SAP.
• Schedule and coordinate material deliveries for internal and external customers; maintain inventory integrity.
