Vestis is seeking a warehouse associate to join our industrial laundry team in South Bend, IN. You will handle merchandise safely and efficiently, rolling mats, staging loads, and ensuring accuracy in size, color, and type.

The role requires attention to quality, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols. The position is part of a shift-based environment, with potential weekend work and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand all required training, written, and verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of basic math skills.
• Good verbal and/or written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule.
• Work is based on a shift schedule and may include weekends.
• Overtime required as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform mat rolling by machine, or by hand on inverted table, or stacking on pallet.
• Stage cage of mats near table or into lift table if using mat rolling machine.
• Place mat rubber side up to roll manually or via foot pedal and machine.
• Monitor quality and segregate mats that do not meet quality requirements (stains, gum stains, rips, tears, holes, wet).
• Verify mat by size, color, and type; place mats on correct storage shelves.
• Maneuver full and empty carts.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment, and observe best production practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
