Job summary

Vestis is seeking a reliable warehouse/production associate to support our industrial laundry operations in South Bend, IN. You will prepare slings or carts for the wash floor, verify item counts on the PUC card, and accurately record any damaged goods.

Work is performed in a warehouse setting with exposure to heat, cold, dust and noise. The role may include weekends and overtime as needed, and requires the ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs. High school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to understand training, written and verbal instructions.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares daily slings or carts for the wash floor.
• Verifies merchandise type and quantity on PUC card; segregates like items.
• Identifies counts and totals ruin or damaged merchandise on PUC card.
• Maintains a safe, clean work environment and follows production best practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
