Western Michigan Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) in Grandville, MI, part of Acadia Healthcare, seeks a Substance Use Counselor with LLMSW or equivalent to provide outpatient MAT counseling and support for Opioid Use Disorder.

The role involves individual and group therapy, treatment planning, and coordination with medical staff. Eligible staff receive supervision, CEUs, and growth opportunities in a leading MAT provider.

Formación

• Master’s degree in social or health services field required.
• Degree must be from an accredited college or university.
• Experience in addiction recovery or behavioral health settings.
• Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT).
• Experience conducting individual and group counseling sessions.
• Knowledge of CBT, MI, relapse prevention.
• Documentation experience with clinical notes and treatment plans.
• Familiarity with state regulatory standards.

Responsabilidades

• Provide high quality, compassionate guidance in individual and group counseling sessions.
• Plan, oversee, facilitate and document patient’s recovery.
• Co-facilitate assigned group or family sessions as needed.
• Ensure all documentation regarding patient care is timely and concise.
• Prepare individual treatment plans for each patient.
• Conduct initial and follow-up assessments.
• Evaluate patient needs and referrals to other programs.
• Plan for aftercare for assigned patients.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Provide case management to ensure individualized quality care.
• Act as liaison between referral sources and patients.
