Accelera in Michigan is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer proficient in Mastercam to develop and refine programs for lathe and mill operations. Candidates will analyze blueprints, select tooling, resolve machining challenges, and collaborate with engineering and production to uphold quality and productivity.

The position offers an hourly rate of $31 to $35 on first shift, with potential overtime and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of professional CNC programming experience.
• Proficient in Mastercam.
• Experience programming CNC lathes and/or mills.

Responsibilities

• Create, refine, and enhance CNC programs with Mastercam.
• Program milling and turning equipment to meet production and quality benchmarks.
• Analyze blueprints, CAD files, and GD&T to ensure production accuracy.
• Determine optimal tooling and workholding strategies to improve throughput.
• Resolve issues related to programming, setup, and machining operations.
• Assist with machine setup, prove-outs, and first-run inspection of parts.
• Maintain records of programming documentation and version history.
• Collaborate with production and engineering to streamline cycle times and efficiency.
