Job summary
Accelera is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our manufacturing team. You will operate and program CNC lathes and mills, interpret complex blueprints, and ensure parts meet stringent tolerances while adhering to safety and production deadlines.
The role requires five years of hands-on CNC experience, familiarity with Mazak controls, and strong metrology skills. A high school diploma or higher with a related certificate is preferred. Benefits are provided by the company.
Qualifications
- Five years of hands-on CNC operation and programming experience.
- Experience with Mazak-style controls is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certificate or degree in Machine/Industrial/Manufacturing Technology preferred.
- Experience working with stainless steel, bronze, cast iron, and plastics.
Responsibilities
- Configure, program, and run conversational CNC milling and turning centers.
- Manufacture precision parts according to blueprints and specifications.
- Verify parts meet dimensional and material standards.
- Determine tooling, fixtures, and workholding for each run.
- Interpret G-code and M-code for machine tweaks.
- Resolve tooling/setup/quality issues to maintain flow.
- Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow safety protocols.
- Meet production lead times and targets.
