Manufacturing Inc is seeking a skilled 1st Shift CNC Milling Machinist / Programmer to join our direct-hire team. You will program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines using CAD to CAM software to manufacture high-precision components.

Qualifications

• Proficient in CAD to CAM programming software.
• Strong background in setting up and operating CNC milling machines.
• Ability to read complex drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
• Toolroom background or prototype experience is a plus.
• Experience with precision inspection tools and tight tolerances.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate 3-, 4-, or 5-axis CNC milling machines to produce parts per engineering drawings.
• Use CAD to CAM software to generate and edit CNC G-code and M-code programs.
• Choose cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and work-holding fixtures for each job.
• Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks with precision instruments.
• Troubleshoot machining issues, tool wear, and program errors on the shop floor.
• Support toolroom operations, including custom fixturing and prototype development.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform preventive maintenance.
