Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5–10 years related experience preferred.
• Welding certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Welding various metals using SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW.
• Check pipe fit for proper attachment and account for shrinkage.
• Weld in 2g, 4g, and 6g positions.
• Operate Heli arc welding equipment for x-ray welding work.
• Move and position castings for tasks.
• Change gas cylinders and use correct welding gases.
