Job summary

Centerline Logistics in Seattle seeks an experienced Master to oversee towing barges and safe vessel operations along the U.S. West Coast. You will lead crewmembers, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage maintenance and safety programs.

Must hold a Coast Guard license 200 GRT Near Coastal with Master of Towing, U.S. radio, STCW endorsements, and be prepared for varied schedules, emergencies, and travel to Seattle-area assignments.

Qualifications

• Coast Guard license valid for coastwise towing on US West Coast.
• Radio operator license and STCW endorsements required.
• HAZWOPER 24-hour certification and ability to work with vessel safety systems.

Responsibilities

• Navigate vessel safely during voyages, arrivals, and departures.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, state, and company regulations and safety practices.
• Maintain vessel and barge maintenance schedules and inventories.
