Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking an experienced Technician I in Charlotte to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet. You will lead by example, mentor others informally, and work independently on major and minor repairs with path to growth.

You will log diagnostics, use Penske tools, and participate in ongoing training to advance your career. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and customer service with strong team collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• ASE certification and technical training preferred.
• Experience with diagnosing and repairing major components.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair trucks and trailers to ensure safety and reliability.
• Perform preventive maintenance with minimal supervision in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot engines, transmissions, differentials; replace assemblies as needed.
• Keep work area clean and safe; log repairs and diagnostics.
• Learn Penske maintenance processes and training programs.
• Support other projects as assigned by supervisor.
